October Blush Mystery Beauty Box Review
Blush Mystery Beauty Box is $34.95/month ($24.95 with monthly subscription), and I’m usually pretty happy with the items I receive. Each box contains over $100 worth of products, and most are full-sized.
Bonus Items:
Dremu Oil Serum
I got a couple of week’s worth of use from this sample-sized serum in my nightly face routine. I didn’t notice any spectacular results, so it won’t be a likely purchase.
$88/1 oz
20% off PMD Personal Microderm products – expired 10/31
Specific Beauty Night Treatment Complex
I don’t remember how I liked this night moisturizer, oops. It is reasonably priced though!
** Also included 20% off Specific Beauty products – expired 10/31
$23.99/2 oz
The goodies:
Theraplex FT Exfoliating Emollient
This body exfoliant will make it’s way into my shower rotation very soon to be used weekly. As well as exfoliating, the formula penetrates deep into the skin to repair dry, cracked skin – sounds perfect for Winter!
$15/2.5 oz
Butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in “Kerfuffle”
I tried this bubble gum pink polish from the Sweetie Shop Spring 2013 Collection on my finger nails, and it didn’t last very long at all. Chips on day 1, remove on day 2 😦 I had such high hopes for Butter LONDON products…
$15
Talika Lipocils Expert
This eyelash enhancer promises to have the same effects as other lash enhancing products (like Latisse), but without the potential side effects (like brown pigmentation in the iris).
$57/.34 oz
Chella Skin Care Highlighter Pencil in “Ivory Lace”
I already had this product (x 2) from previous boxes, and ended up gifting it 🙂 I like smudging a little on the inner corners of my eyes to make me look more awake in the AM.
$18
MyFace Cosmetics Lip Pop Gloss in “Naughty Girl”
I’ve been getting a lot of red lip products lately in sub boxes, but this one really stands out! I love the color, which is a rich shimmery gold-burgundy, but it appears this shade is meant for medium/dark skin tones (I am pretty fair).
$18
Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 1
This facial moisturizer is designed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as minimizing pores. I need to try this out soon!
$75/1.73 oz
Miracle Skin Transformer Face SPF 20 in “Medium”
I should have known this tinted moisturizer was too dark for my fair skin tone! I liked the formula (it really covered things up), just wish it would have been in the”light” shade.
$48/1.7 oz
Mirabella Mineral Highlighting Powder in “Shimmer Rose”
I recently added this highlighting powder to my makeup subbing for blush and highlighter. I do like the shade, but a little bit goes a long way for a more natural looking flush.
